How do I book a taxi in Maitland?

How does taxi pricing work?
At Diggers Shuttle & Taxis, we calculate your fare based on several variables. One of two base rates will be applied depending on the booking time and day of the week.
The meter will then accumulate during your ride based on kilometres travelled – or a per minute basis when waiting or if you get stuck in traffic.
For maxi taxis there’s a 50% surcharge on top of the overall rate with any tolls, Passenger Service Levies or additional charges applied at the end.

We started operating in 2011, with a single driver and have since grown to over 30 drivers with 50 vehicles; including a range of sedans, maxi taxis, mini buses and coaches.
Aside from taxis we offer fixed price shuttle services for whatever type of trip you need; including winery tours, concerts and general charters.
To ensure the safety of all passengers, each of our drivers have undergone Working with Children Checks, National Police Checks and hold the correct insurance.
