On Time Travel

Diggers Taxis is about more than just getting someone from point A to point B. We aim to do so safely and on time. ​

We have a range of suitable vehicles including, wheelchair accessible vehicles (WATS), Maxi Taxis & Sedans. We accept Taxi Transport Subsidy Scheme (TTSS), Eftpos, Cabcharge & Cash payments. ​

We also ensure Assisted School Travel Program (ASTP) eligible children get to and from their place of learning, with all our drivers holding a Working With Children’s Check (WWCC).​

Our taxi drivers are experts at getting you to the airport on time for your flight or picking you up when you return. Need a designated driver for a night out? We can safely transport you to your destination and home again.

Our Drivers Can Get You Or A Family Member To Medical Appointments

Our drivers can get you or a family member to medical appointments, but we need 24 hours’ notice if you require a specialty vehicle.

Even if you are not travelling yourself, you can organise a parcel delivery by contacting us today.

Safety is a priority for Diggers Shuttle & Taxis. We keep an eye on the safety of our passengers and drivers at all times by fitting the taxis with cameras and GPS tracking.

We go the extra mile for our passengers’ safety at night. If requested, our drivers will not leave until you are safely inside your home. We also train our staff in good customer service, and all drivers are authorised by the Point to Point Transport Commissioner.

Diggers Maitland Taxis App – Privacy Policy

​The Diggers Taxi App uses the following information:

Your location is determined using GPS if it is turned on. This is used to allow you to book a taxi “here”. It is also recorded with the booking details to allow us to monitor usage of the app.
The pick-up address you enter in the booking is recorded with the other booking details and sent to the driver.
The phone number you supply is also recorded with the booking and may be sent to the driver. This depends on the policy of the fleet handling the booking.
Your phone’s unique id is recorded with the booking. It is not normally used but may be used to block your device if it is suspected that false bookings are being made.
If you use the “send logs” option to report a fault or to give us feedback a few pieces of information about your phone are also sent. These include the model number of your phone and the software version number.
